Mike Dempsey has spearheaded a number of philanthropic initiatives supporting a baseball-related foundations including Hank’s Yanks, the Johnny Damon Foundation, the Cal Ripken Sr Foundation, David Wells’ Perfect 33 Foundation, Global Sports, etc. Mike also serves on the Advisory Board of the New York State Baseball Hall of Fame. Mike also participated in a Yankees Old Timers Day event in 2015 supporting Yankees 1978 World Series hero Brian Doyle in his fight to raise awareness for Parkinson’s Disease. Mike was 2 for 2 in the game with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI’s facing Yankees World Series champ Jeff Nelson.
